Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort will headline a 4-bout Triller Fight Club card, which is available to buy and view on Fite TV.

Holyfield, a.k.a. “Real Deal,” is one of the most storied professional boxers of all time, and the greatest cruiserweight boxer in the sport’s history. He capped his career in 2011 by defeating Brian Nielsen, and is returning on short notice after Oscar de la Hoya pulled out due to Covid-19.

If that wasn’t enough to pique your interest, a full, alternate telecast with live commentary by former President Donald Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., is also being offered by Triller.

The bout is being treated as sanctioned by the Florida Athletic Commission, and will be scored and judged according to all professional rules and standards. However, Holyfield, Belfort and Triller have up until the bell rings to decide whether the fight will go on the official BoxRec records. According to ESPN, Holyfield has expressed some apprehension due to his age and the eight day notice on which he took the fight.

Holyfield’s opponent, Belfort, is a 44 MMA fighter who has not fought since 2018 when he lost to Lyoto Machida at UFC 224.

The fight card starts at 7:00 p.m. ET on Fite TV.

The co-main event is a cruiserweight bout between UFC legend Anderson Silva and fellow MMA fighter Tito Ortiz, who is making his professional boxing debut.

Here’s the full fight card for Saturday:

Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort, heavyweight
Anderson Silva vs. Tito Ortiz, cruiserweight
David Haye vs. Joe Fournier, heavyweight
Andy Vences vs. Jono Carroll, super featherweight

Evander Holyfield will return to the boxing ring aged 58 on Saturday night against former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort.

The ex-world heavyweight world champion is stepping back between the ropes to take on the much younger Belfort, who was originally scheduled to face Oscar De La Hoya.

However, when De La Hoya was hospitalised with the coronavirus, Holyfield answered the call and stepped in to take on the legendary MMA fighter, with the fight moving to Florida as a result.

Holyfield had been staying in shape for an exhibition bout with Kevin McBride, which was initially scheduled for June and then August, but fans are concerned that he doesn’t look good in training footage.

The card will also feature two former UFC champions in Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz swapping their 4oz gloves for 10oz ones, as well as the return of David Haye against Joe Fournier.

The pay-per-view will be rounded out by a high-level contest between Jono Carroll and Andy Vences.

The card begins with an eight-round exhibition between friends, business partners, and temporary enemies David Haye vs. Joe Fournier. While the bout may not have title implications, it will likely serve as a stark reminder of the flashy brilliance that garnered Haye several world titles as a professional boxer.

The main event of the Triller Fight Club event sees 58-year old Evander Holyfield and 44-year old Vitor Belfort squaring off in a competition of the effectiveness of personal fountains of youth. A longtime boxing legend and a longtime MMA legend, Holyfield and Belfort are well-known in their respective sports and will put their current reputations on the line in a ten-round showdown.
