New Orleans Saints vs Carolina Panthers: Live score updates, TV channel, how to watch NFL Week 17 live stream online
The New Orleans Saints have already established themselves as a favorite to win the NFC title. They are trying to earn a first-round bye as they face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday (10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, FOX, DirecTV) in a Week 17 game.
The Saints (12-3) can secure the top seed and home-field advantage with a win over the Panthers and a losses by the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers. Regardless of the outcome, the Saints have shown they’re going to be a formidable opponent whether play at home or on the road. The big reason is the the combination between quarterback Drew Brees and wide receiver Michael Thomas. Thomas set an all-time single-season record for receptions with 145.
The Panthers (5-10) have lost seven consecutive games and they’re a hot mess. The only exciting thing going is running back Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey needs just 67 receiving yards to join Roger Craig and Marshall Faulk as the only players in NFL history to have 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season.
