Prince Harry requests engagement location be kept private

Prince Harry is set to attend the WellChild Awards in London on Monday

King Charles and Prince Harry are unlikely to meet in the UK this week due to geographical challenges in arranging a meeting.

Prince Harry is set to attend the WellChild Awards in London on Monday, while King Charles remains in Scotland, having been seen attending church in Balmoral earlier today.

According to a source cited by the Express, a reunion between the two is not expected to take place.

They said: “There are no official plans in the diary to see the King and it is unlikely that they will meet due to simple geography.”

Prince Harry has reportedly made a special request ahead of his upcoming UK engagement. According to an insider, he has asked that the location of the event remain undisclosed until Monday as a precautionary security measure.

The source said: “Harry is still very concerned about his security in the UK and his team have asked that the location not be shared with anyone until the day of the event.

Queen Camilla has reportedly advised King Charles against meeting with Prince Harry next week, according to a source.

Back in February, the King and his son had a 45-minute meeting at Clarence House after Harry hurried back to the UK upon learning of his father’s cancer diagnosis.

Since then, Harry has made two more trips to the UK, including one in August for his uncle’s funeral, but has not seen the King during either visit.

The source claims that Queen Camilla is opposed to the idea of the King meeting with his son. King Charles is still undergoing treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer.

They told the Daily Beast: “She has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy.

“The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry.”
