WWE Crown Jewel signals the start of a new tradition for the professional wrestling organization. Raw and SmackDown’s world champions will collide to crown the first Crown Jewel champions in the men’s and women’s divisions.

WWE returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Nov. 2 for the sixth Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. WWE chief content officer Paul Levesque unveiled the new Crown Jewel belts at Bad Blood on Oct. 5.

Levesque revealed two annual matches at Crown Jewel. Raw’s world heavyweight champion and women’s world champion will wrestle SmackDown’s undisputed WWE champion and WWE women’s champion, respectively. The winners will be crowned Crown Jewel champions.

Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax are the two matches currently scheduled unless a title change occurs before the Nov. 2 card at Mohammed Abdo Arena.

Take a look below at the confirmed matches for Crown Jewel and glance at the crystal ball of what may come. The event streams live on Peacock on Nov. 2 with the pay-per-view card starting at 1 p.m. ET.

2024 WWE Crown Jewel matches

WWE Crown Jewel Championship — Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther: Expectations are that Rhodes and Gunther will headline Crown Jewel. Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 in April to become champion, and most recently defended it against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match on the Sept. 13 episode of SmackDown. Gunther took the title off Damian Priest at August’s SummerSlam, and recently retained the title against Sami Zayn on the Oct. 7 episode of Raw. Notably, Rhodes and Gunther are both in their first WWE world title reigns.

WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship — Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan: Jax and Morgan are getting a break from long-running rivalries. Jax and Morgan defeated Bayley and Rhea Ripley, respectively, to win the titles at SummerSlam and exited Bad Blood rematches with their titles intact. Jax won the Queen of the Ring tournament the last time she was in Saudi Arabia, which earned her the SummerSlam title shot.

2024 WWE Crown Jewel predictions

Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso vs. The Bloodline: WWE and Saudi Arabia are in a lucrative 10-year partnership. You could imagine the Saudi government wants a star of Reigns’ caliber on the show. Furthering The Bloodline storyline also makes sense considering Crown Jewel’s proximity to Survivor Series: WarGames. There are two directions this tag team match could take. Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa could avenge their loss to Reigns and Rhodes at Bad Blood by beating Reigns and Jimmy. Alternatively, the original Bloodline members could build momentum by beating Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

Intercontinental Championship — Jey Uso (c) vs. Bron Breakker vs. Kofi Kingston: The intercontinental title picture is heating up. Jey defied expectations, ending Breakker’s short title reign to kickstart Jey’s first singles title reign. Jey successfully defended the title against Xavier Woods on the Oct. 7 episode of Raw. Breakker attacked Jey, Woods and Kings post-match, possibly setting the table for a multi-man match at Crown Jewel.

Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez: Rodriguez made a surprise return at Bad Blood by aiding Morgan — Rodriguez’s former WWE women’s tag team title partner — and attacking Ripley. “Mami” won the match by disqualification but left Bad Blood without the women’s world title. With Morgan tied up in a Crown Jewel title match, Ripley’s free to seek vengeance on Rodriguez.
