The 2024 Major League Baseball season ended with the Los Angeles Dodgers raising the World Series trophy after defeating the New York Yankees in five games.
With the offseason now underway, free agency will include many players potentially switching teams before the 2025 season.
A key piece of the Dodgers championship lineup could be one of those players who wears a different uniform next season.
Right-handed hitting power threat Teoscar Hernandez appears to be drawing interest from two specific teams in the American League.
According to MLB Network’s Jon Morosi, Hernandez is being pursued in free agency by the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles.

Hernandez is fresh off a World Series win in his first season wearing a Dodgers uniform.
The right-handed power threat batted .272 with 33 home runs, 99 runs batted in, and a .840 on-base plus slugging percentage during the regular season.
Hernandez appears to be drawing interest from a couple of American League East teams who could benefit from adding a right-handed power hitter next season.
The Orioles are coming off of a regular season where they won 91 games, but they lost in the first round of the playoffs for the second year in a row.
Alternatively, the Red Sox are coming off of a regular season where they won 81 games and missed the postseason for the third straight season.
Both of these teams have some left-handed power hitters in Rafael Devers and Gunnar Henderson.
Hernandez could potentially be switching from the National League to the American League if he were to strike a deal with either of these AL East teams.
