The MLB regular season is complete, October baseball is here and there’s a familiar favorite expected to win the Fall Classic.
The New York Yankees are sitting atop the oddsboard as the lone favorite to win the World Series after qualifying for the ALCS with a Game 4 win over Kansas City on Thursday.

Let’s take a look at every team’s updated 2024 World Series odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 11.
ODDS TO WIN 2024 WORLD SERIES:
New York Yankees: +170 (bet $10 to win $27 total)
Los Angeles Dodgers: +340 (bet $10 to win $44 total)
New York Mets: +370 (bet $10 to win $47 total)
San Diego Padres: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Cleveland Guardians: +850 (bet $10 to win $95 total)
Detroit Tigers: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)
Don’t look now, but the Yankees have company from their crosstown rivals near the top of the oddsboard, as the Mets have the third-shortest odds to win it all, right behind the Dodgers.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Mets were third at +500. However, they punched their ticket to the NLCS with a 4-1 win over the Phillies that evening, causing their odds to take a leap.
Meanwhile, the Padres went from +300 to +600 after their Game 4 loss to the Dodgers, and now sit at +550, while L.A. went to +350 from +500 with its Game 4 win, and have since moved to +340.
