    50 Cent is no longer avoiding politics as he celebrates Donald Trump‘s return to the Oval Office.

    The Hip-Hop icon marked the president-elect’s victory over Kamala Harris on Instagram, singing a new tune despite refusing to endorse anyone as the next president.

    In the final weeks to election day, 50 Cent claimed Donald Trump’s team offered him $3 million to perform at a rally. However, he not only refused but claimed he would never be involved in politics.

    In his Instagram post, 50 Cent shared two throwback pictures with Trump. The first captured the pair rocking similar black tuxedos with white shirts as the rapper shook the politician’s hand. They posed for a close-up selfie on the second slide.

    50 Cent penned his love for Trump in the post’s caption, implying that he cared more about there being a winner rather than the person who won. His message read:

    “I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with the winner sh-t. I still don’t know what’s going on. Congratulations!”

    The “In Da Club” hitmaker’s words sparked mixed reactions from fans, with many referencing his previous stance against politics. Others saw him as a sellout, while some supported his stance.

    The rapper’s support did not sit well with some fans, with one bluntly declaring: “50 you are a disappointment to me.” Another echoed: “Nah, 50, I love you down… but you losing me with this nonsense. Come on.”

    “I told y’all he was a silent Trump Supporter,” a third noted, while a fourth added: “Why did you have to post this? You said you were staying out of politics. I am so disappointed.”

    A displeased fan noted they might not understand or agree with 50 Cent; however, “Business is business. It’s team you for me, always.” A supporter penned similar thoughts, wondering:

    The Rapper Claims He Rejected A $3 Million Offer From Trump

    50 Cent’s comments about politics came during a late October appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show. The Blast covered that a snippet of the episode was shared on Instagram, capturing the record producer’s confessions.

    When host DJ Envy asked the rapper if Trump offered money to perform at his Madison Square Garden, 50 Cent confirmed he got the call. He noted they wanted him to perform his hit “Many Men” song and made the same request during the Republican National Convention.

    “They offered me $3 million,” he said about the Madison Square Garden rally. When asked why he rejected Trump’s offer twice, 50 Cent declared that he would never get involved in “gangbang and politics,” saying:

    “I didn’t even go for it. I haven’t talked to them about that kind of stuff. I’m afraid of politics, bro. You understand? I do not like no part about them.”

    The politician is also the first convicted felon ever to be elected president. His sentencing in New York was scheduled for later this month; however, that might not hold following his victory, per TMZ.
