During his years with the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan was unstoppable and unquestionably dominant for many years in a row.
Can any current NBA star create a stretch of seasons like that?
Speaking to SiriusXM NBA Radio, Brian Scalabrine said that Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is the best player in the league and may have just put together the greatest four consecutive seasons fans will ever see.
“The last four seasons – 3 MVPs and an NBA championship,” Scalabrine said, before adding, “This is like a Michael Jordan type of level.”

Jokic has been on quite the roll for the last four seasons.
During that time, he averaged 26.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 8.7 assists.
Of course, he has also earned multiple MVP trophies and claimed his first championship ring, as well as the Finals MVP award.
The Nuggets haven’t been perfect during the last four years but Jokic has been pretty close to it.
He is a big man unlike any before him, capable of clogging up the paint and posting easy buckets but he also has a brilliant basketball mind who is capable of finding his teammates anywhere on the court and getting everyone involved.
Jokic has been so consistently great that some people are starting to take him for granted, it seems.
He won MVP again last season but it was a controversial choice, with some people feeling he didn’t deserve it.
However, his performances during 2024-25 were incredible and Jokic averaged 28.7 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 8.7 assists during the season.
Jokic’s greatness hasn’t waned over the last several seasons and NBA fans are lucky to have him, according to Scalabrine.
