Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies is one of the NBA’s best young stars, and he seems to remain popular with fans despite his off the court issues.
He has had a few gun-related incidents over the last couple of years, and as a result, he has been suspended multiple times, which included a 25-game suspension handed down by the NBA to start last season.
Following that discipline and a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the rest of last season, he seems to be back at full strength, which means he will likely serve up plenty of highlights this year.
When asked which NBA player he hasn’t dunked on yet that he wants to dunk on, he responded by naming one of his teammates — Zach Edey, per ClutchPoints.

Edey was the No. 9 pick in June’s draft by Memphis after he won the Big Ten Player of the Year, National College Player of the Year, and NCAA scoring title in both of the last two seasons.
He averaged 25.2 points while shooting 62.3 percent from the field, 12.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots a game last season, and at 7-foot-4 and 305 pounds, he was something of an immovable object in the lane.
However, many feel he’s simply too slow to excel at that next level.
The Grizzlies traded Steven Adams, their former starting center, to the Houston Rockets last season, and thus they hope Edey will develop into an NBA-caliber starting center.
If he does, he would give them an interesting starting lineup that includes Morant, Desmond Bane and big man Jaren Jackson Jr., who was named the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year for the 2022-23 season.
