The Arizona Cardinals may have saved their season and their playoff hopes, at least for now, after overcoming a 23-10 halftime deficit on Sunday and coming back to upset the San Francisco 49ers, 24-23.

It wasn’t the best of games for quarterback Kyler Murray, who completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 195 yards, one touchdown and one interception, but with a 2-3 record, the team seems to have a shot, albeit perhaps an outside shot, at getting back to the postseason since the 2021 season.

In the meantime, Murray announced on his official X (formerly Twitter) account that he has a new partnership with the video game “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6,” which will drop on Oct. 25.

So far this season, the signal-caller has thrown for 972 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 68.1 percent of his pass attempts and adding 247 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

The last couple of seasons were rough for him, as he tore his ACL late in 2022 and struggled to regain his form in 2023.

In 2020 and 2021, his last two full seasons in the NFL, he made the Pro Bowl, and it looks like he’s approaching that level of production so far this year.

Murray has benefitted from the addition of wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the No. 4 pick in April’s draft who is looking like an absolute gem, as many expected.

The son of Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison has caught 17 passes for 279 yards and four touchdowns through five games, even though he has only caught 48.6 percent of the passes thrown his way.
