His international selection is just reward for several months of strong development at Manchester United. Collyer made his senior debut in August’s Community Shield at Wembley against Manchester City, becoming the club’s 251st Academy graduate, and his Premier League bow came three weeks later at home to Liverpool.
Toby has played and captained England’s youth teams in the past but this first call-up to this level is a testament to his continued progress.
