Usher discloses new dates for the Miami gigs

American singer and songwriter Usher has officially postponed his upcoming gigs scheduled to take place in Miami this October due to a storm threat in Florida.

The 45-year-old singer, took it to his Instagram, to share the deferral of his concerts that were already booked on October 11, 12 and 14.

He released a statement saying that: “My upcoming shows in Miami at Kaseya Center have been rescheduled for December due to the state of emergency in Florida.”

“Everyone’s safety and well-being remain my top priority and I’d rather celebrate with you all at a time when you can get to and from the show safely. Praying for everyone affected by this natural disaster”, added Usher.

The You Got It Bad singer added a kind message in the caption wishing everyone living in Florida to stay safe. “Florida, stay safe. I will see you soon”, he wrote.

Furthermore, the contemporary pop artist also released the rescheduled dates of his Miami gigs. The shows will now take place in December 16, 18 and 19 respectively.

Usher is recognized as an influential figure in the R&B and pop music. He rose to fame with the release of his second album ‘My Way’ in the late 1990s.
