A frost advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:28 a.m. valid for Friday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Berkshire County.
The weather service comments, “Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation.”
“Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered,” says the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
