Where to watch Ole Miss vs. Wake Forest: TV channel, start time, live stream, odds, spread

The No. 6 Ole Miss Rebels hit the road for the first time this year to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much they ran up and down the field in their prior games.

Wake Forest is hoping to do what Middle Tennessee couldn’t on Saturday: put an end to Ole Miss’ winning streak, which now stands at five games dating back to last season. Ole Miss took its game at home with ease, bagging a 52-3 win over Middle Tennessee. The game was pretty much decided by the half with the Rebels up 31-3 at the break.

Henry Parrish Jr. had a dynamite game for Ole Miss, rushing for 165 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. With that strong performance, Parrish Jr. is now averaging an impressive 102.5 rushing yards per contest. The Rebels also got a big day from Jaxson Dart, who threw for 377 yards and a touchdown while completing 92.6% of his passes.

Ole Miss was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 yards rushing.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest scored first, but ultimately less than Virginia in an agonizing 31-30 loss. The loss hurts even more since the Demon Deacons were up 17-3 with 13:01 left in the second.

Even though the team lost, Wake Forest still had its share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Hank Bachmeier, who threw for 403 yards and a touchdown. Donavon Greene was Bachmeier’s top target, picking up 166 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Wake Forest, adding 12 points to the final score. All came courtesy of Matthew Dennis: he went 3 for 3 on field goals and extra points.

Ole Miss’ victory was its ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed the Rebels’ record up to 2-0. As for Wake Forest, its defeat dropped its record down to 1-1.

Going forward, Ole Miss is probably looking forward to this one considering their 23.5 advantage in the spread. It finished last season with a 6-4-2 record against the spread.
