The seven-time Super Bowl champion turned FOX Sports broadcaster, Tom Brady, has been keeping a close eye on the Dallas Cowboys this season.
After witnessing their crushing 40-9 defeat at the hands of the Detroit Lions at AT&T Stadium, Brady didn’t mince words about the team’s performance.
As the fourth quarter kicked off with Dallas trailing 47-9, the cameras panned to the dejected faces of Cowboys players, lingering on quarterback Dak Prescott.
“Dallas is just struggling in the same ways they have in so many of these games,” Brady said.
He didn’t stop there. Brady laid out the team’s issues in stark detail: “They can’t run it, they are struggling to be physical on both sides of the ball, offensive line, defensive line. Dak’s frustrated, too many balls up in the air, too many turnovers, and just not good enough.”

For Prescott, the pressure is mounting. Fresh off signing a whopping four-year, $240 million contract extension – making him the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback at $60 million per year – the 31-year-old is under the microscope.
His postseason record of 2-5 and the Cowboys’ current 3-3 season start aren’t living up to the hefty price tag.
Sure, Prescott has his share of accolades, including Offensive Rookie of the Year and three Pro Bowl nods. But in Dallas, it all boils down to one thing: championships.
The Cowboys, with their five Super Bowl wins, are NFL royalty.
But their last taste of championship glory was back in 1995 – ancient history in football terms.
Owner and general manager Jerry Jones is itching to change that narrative and bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Dallas sooner rather than later.
As Brady’s critiques echo through the NFL world, all eyes are on Prescott and the Cowboys to see if they can turn their season around and live up to their storied legacy.
