Amid various mega offers in this festive season, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has come up with an exciting scheme for those who would like to purchase their dream home this Diwali.
The DDA has set a target to sell around 34,000 flats as part of their mega Diwali sale. While the sale kicked off two months back, bookings are open till March 2025.
Those looking to buy flats under the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category can book their dream property with a payment of Rs 50,000. The booking price for LIG (Low-Income Group) flats is set at Rs 1 lakh, for MIG (Middle-Income Group) flats at Rs 4 lakh, and for High-Income Group flats at Rs 10 lakh. The registration fee for all categories is Rs 2,500.
Both the registration amount and the booking amount are non-refundable. Those who have paid the registration fee and the booking amount cannot step down from buying the flat.
Bookings under the Sasta Ghar Scheme started on September 11 and will continue till March 31, 2025. Under the housing scheme of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), flats are available for booking on a first-come, first-serve basis.
About 34,000 LIG and EWS flats are up for booking at Ramgarh Colony, Lok Nayak Puram, Rohini, Siraspur and Narela. The starting price is Rs 10.54 lakh and for larger flats, the starting price has been kept at Rs 29 lakh. The number of such flats is 5,400.
