Dimple Kapadia’s latest photoshoot has proved that the veteran actress is here to give strong competition to many young fashionistas in the industry. The actress, 67, proved that when it comes to real beauty, age is just a number as she turned the cover girl. With minimal makeup and proudly flaunting her wrinkles, the actress exuded timeless beauty and elegance.
Recently, Vogue shared various snapshots of Dimple Kapadia from her first-ever photo shoot for the magazine. Dimple could be seen dressed in immaculate clothes and jewellery. In the first picture, she looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder navy blue suit. The actress donned a bold necklace with huge beads and a transparent pendant and her makeup included smokey eyes, mascara-adorned lashes, feathery brows and blush-toned lips. Her hair was beautifully styled in blowout waves and centre partition.
Up next, she wore a black turtleneck top, an asymmetric wrap skirt, and an emerald green overlay. She paired the outfit with an aquamarine slab necklace, emerald wing earrings and black stilettos. A neat bun hairdo completed the look.
For her third look, Dimple Kapadia opted for a Sabyasachi outfit. She looked lovely in the ensemble, which included a white jacket and black trousers. The look was sealed with a Sabyasachi necklace, loose hair worn in blowout waves, and a minimal makeup look.
For her fourth and final look, she went a little retro. The actress wore a plain white full-sleeved shirt with a checkered cloak-style jacket and flared pants. She accessorised it with black stilettos, a pair of dangling pearl earrings and a stick.
While her look resonated with her admirers, many celebrities could not help but praise her charm as she appeared on the cover. Dimple Kapadia’s daughter, author Twinkle Khanna shared one of the pictures on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “As the Super Mario Bros would say ‘Mamma Mia!’’
Tisca Chopra commented, “This is the cover we were waiting for and DK is gold, inside out.” Namrata Soni excitedly stated, “Finally…Icon.” Kalyani Saha also shared her thoughts saying, “High Time !! Amazing!! And equal parts gemini is the best part.” Others, including Dia Mirza, Sonam Bajwa, Bhumi Pednekar, Neelam Kothari, also praised her for the stunning photoshoot.
