DDA Sasta Housing Scheme: The registration process for prospective buyers is already open. Prices for the flats will start at Rs 11.5 lakh and will be sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will open bookings for newly constructed flats under Phase 2 of the ‘Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme’ from November 14. More than 2,500 flats will be available across various locations in Delhi, including Rohini, Dwarka, Mangolpuri, Ramgarh, Loknayak Puram, Siraspur, Narela and other areas.
The registration process for prospective buyers is already open. The flat rates start at Rs 11.5 lakh and the houses will be sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
The available flats cover different categories, including over 250 LIG flats in Rohini Sector 34 and 35, priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 15.5 lakh. Around 180 EWS flats will also be available in Mangolpuri, priced at Rs 32-35 lakh. As many as 1,800 EWS flats are also on offer in Narela’s Sector A1-A4 (Pocket 1A, 1B and 1C) at Rs 18-20 lakh. The remaining flats are located in Narela, Siraspur, Loknayakpuram and other locations.
Ready-to-move-in homes
“Our aim is to assist people in Delhi in purchasing their own homes. All the flats in Phase 2 are ready to move in. People can register on the DDA website and also visit the site to view the flats,” an official said.
This scheme is in addition to the ongoing sale of the remaining flats from the 9,000 offered under Phase 1, which was launched in August. Under Phase 1, approximately 1,650 flats across various categories in Jasola, Narela, Rohini, Loknayakpuram, Ramgarh and Siraspur were sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis by the end of September.
1,660 homes sold so far
In the Dwarka Housing Scheme, 169 flats in the penthouse, HIG, super HIG, and MIG categories located in sectors 14, 16B, and 19B were offered through e-auction, with more than 130 of these already sold. According to officials, over 1,200 LIG and 440 EWS flats have been sold under the affordable housing and middle-class schemes. All 708 LIG flats in Rohini have been booked, while around 250 flats have been sold in Narela.
