With the trade deadline closing in, multiple teams around the NFL will keep a close eye on struggling teams.
Notably, that includes the New Orleans Saints.
They’re currently in the midst of a six-game losing streak, and some around the league believe a loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday could lead them to part ways with some of their veterans.
With that in mind, multiple teams have reached out to them to inquire about Marshon Lattimore’s availability (via Jordan Schultz).
Sources: Teams have called about #Saints 4x Pro Bowl CB Marshon Lattimore, though it remains unclear if New Orleans would be willing to entertain a deal.

The talented cornerback is under contract through 2026.
Lattimore is currently on a team-friendly deal, as he’s making just $1.21 million as a base salary right now.
The former first-round pick has been one of the best cornerbacks in the game since he entered the league back in 2017, and some reports state that the Kansas City Chiefs are more than interested in getting him for Steve Spagnuolo’s defense.
Of course, whether the Saints will waive the white flag and move on from him remains to be seen.
Derek Carr will finally return from a multi-week absence, and they might feel like they still have a chance to compete at a high level with a win on Sunday vs. the Panthers.
