The excitement of the Major League Baseball postseason has concluded with the Los Angeles Dodgers winning the World Series title over the New York Yankees.

With the 2024 season officially wrapped up, a whole new type of excitement is about to begin.

Free agency talks will headline the offseason with plenty of big names on the platter.

Juan Soto will likely be the biggest name to tackle free agency, but there are plenty more all-star caliber players who could potentially change teams.

According to MLB on ‘X,’ MLB.com named the top 10 free agent players this offseason.

Soto leads the list, but ace starting pitchers Corbin Burnes and Blake Snell are right behind him.

Other notable players on the list include Pete Alonso, Anthony Santander, and World Series champion Jack Flaherty.

Teams who need a top-end starting pitcher will have a few to choose from as there are four quality pitchers on the list.

Home run power appears to be another attribute to the list as Soto hit 41 home runs, Santander hit 44 home runs, Alonso hit 34 home runs, and Willy Adames hit 32 home runs.

Fans will have some excitement to look forward to as they await the start of the 2025 season and the possibility of one of these star players joining their favorite team.

Soto is likely to sign the biggest contract this offseason, and it will be interesting to see if he stays with the Yankees or decides to bring his talents elsewhere next season.

The season is now over, but the excitement is already beginning for the 2025 season.
