2024 Presidents Cup odds, picks, predictions: Proven golf insider reveals best bets for Royal Montreal

The 2024 Presidents Cup will feature 24 of the world’s best golfers competing at The Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Quebec. The Americans have dominated the Presidents Cup over the years, winning nine straight against the International Team. Jim Furyk is Team USA’s captain and he’ll field a team that features some of golf’s biggest stars, including Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay. The International Team features major champions like Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama and Adam Scott, who’s making his 11th Presidents Cup appearance.

According to the latest 2024 Presidents Cup odds, the Americans are listed as the -250 favorites (risk $250 to win $100) to repeat. The International Team is listed as a +260 underdog, while a tie would return +1200. Betting on which team will win is just one way to approach this event, which will also have plenty of golf props available as play unfolds through Sunday. Before locking in your 2024 Presidents Cup picks, be sure to see the best bets and predictions from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure built SportsLine’s proprietary golf model, which has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up nearly $9,500 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

This same model has also nailed a whopping 13 majors entering the weekend, including the 2024 Masters — its third Masters in a row — and this year’s PGA Championship and U.S. Open. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.

Now, McClure has evaluated the 2024 Presidents Cup odds and locked in his best bets. Head to SportsLine now to see the top picks and predictions for the Presidents Cup 2024

Top 2024 Presidents Cup predictions

McClure’s 2024 Presidents Cup best bets include backing Team USA to win Day 1 at -145 (risk $145 to win $100) odds. Day 1 will feature five team matches played in the four-ball (best ball) format. This format is commonly known as “best ball,” meaning the lowest score from the two-player team will be counted for the match.

Furyk will want the Americans to jump out to an early lead, so he’ll likely send his best pairings to claim as many points as possible on Thursday. Scheffler, the No. 1 ranked player in the world, will likely be involved in Thursday’s matches and he’ll have a chip on his shoulder.

Scheffler went 0-3-1 in his only Presidents Cup appearance, so he’ll want to claim his first point early this go-around. Scheffler racked up seven wins and 16 top 10 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2024 and he’ll be brimming with confidence at Royal Montreal. See all of McClure’s best bets here.
