While last season was a pretty big disappointment for the Milwaukee Bucks following their blockbuster trade for Damian Lillard, this season could be shaping up to be an outright disaster.
They have gotten off to a 1-6 start, which is tied for the worst record in the NBA, and they have problems across the board.
Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is dealing with an adductor injury, and forward Khris Middleton is yet to play this season because of an ankle injury.
NBA insider Shams Charania said on ESPN’s SportsCenter that there is no timetable for Middleton’s return.
“It’s still uncertain when Khris Middleton is going to be back. He’s yet to be cleared to my knowledge for 5-on-5 scrimmaging,” Charania said.

Middleton, 33, has spent his entire pro career with the Bucks, and he has long been a very key member of their roster.
He played a big role when they won the 2021 NBA championship, and he exploded for some big fourth quarters in multiple playoff games that spring and summer.
However, he has been injury-prone in recent seasons, and last season, he appeared in just 33 games.
He hasn’t played in more than 68 games since the 2018-19 campaign.
His absence for most of the 2022 playoffs due to a sprained MCL was a major factor in the Bucks’ seven-game loss to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
They will need his ability to score one-on-one, hit from 3-point range and even facilitate and defend if they’re going to turn their season around early enough to give themselves a real shot at an extended playoff run.
