Conan O’Brien shares biggest ‘regret’ during his time at SNL

Conan O’Brien wrote scripts in between 1988 and 1991

Conan O’Brien has revealed the biggest regret he has while being part of the Saturday Night Live (SNL).

The popular TV host, who has been a vial part of the SNL, deeply wished that he would have had more fun while doing the job.

Conan worked on the scripts of the famous comedy series from 1988 to 1991.

While talking exclusively on his Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, the 61-year-old comedian said: “People always say no regrets. I regret being so intense about that job.”

“Yeah. I was way too intense, and I think I robbed myself of some fun that I could have had.

He further added: “I did have a lot of fun, but I think I could have had more fun. And I think I could have maybe written there a little longer if I didn’t make it such a grind for myself.”

Brien, 66, also gave credit to the creator of the SNL, Lorne Michaels for changing the course of his career.

Conan Christopher O’Brien is best known for hosting late-night shows on NBC television network.
