Cincinnati Bengals fans have gone through a lot over the past two seasons.

Joe Burrow was hurt for most of the 2023 campaign, and he didn’t look like himself in the early stages of the 2024 season.

Many wondered if Burrow wasn’t fully healthy and if this was going to be another lost season for the Bengals, as they thought he might miss more extended time.

However, Burrow has turned things around over the past several games, and the Bengals are now in a position to push for a spot in the playoffs.

Their decision to go for two against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football could be questioned for the foreseeable future, but Burrow looked great regardless of the game’s outcome.

Skip Bayless agreed, commenting on X about how impressed he is with Burrow’s movement.

Burrow isn’t necessarily known for his scrambling ability or his propensity to move around in the pocket, but he did whatever he needed to go against the Ravens.

He didn’t fold against one of the best defenses in the league, a trait that impressed Bayless throughout.

With this loss, the Bengals fell to a 4-6 record, putting them in a marked deficit in the AFC North standings.

There’s still time for them to make a playoff push, but they’ll have to move quickly if they want any chance of making that happen.

Can Burrow overcome what his doubters said about him coming into the year, putting the team on his back and bringing them to another playoff appearance?
