Bhad Bhabie has finally shared the reason behind her drastic weight loss, and it’s not what fans expected.

The rapper sparked concerns last month after debuting a slimmer figure that had fans speculating about the cause of her drastic change. Some blamed her baby’s father, Le Vaughn, while others thought she joined the skinny beauty trend.

Bhad Bhabie eventually got sick of the growing narratives about her body and revealed she had been secretly treating cancer. She did not share additional details about her diagnosis, but it got more people worried about her health.

In a recent Instagram Story update, Bhabie shared a note to body shamers and conspiracy theorists about her recent weight loss. Her distaste for the increasing complaints about her body was evident in her statement:

“I’m Sorry my cancer medicine made me loose weight. I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running w the worst narratives.”

The revelation naturally worried fans, and they trooped over to her last Instagram post on October 23. Bhabie had shared multiple pictures of herself outdoors, looking significantly slimmer than her usual voluptuous self.

The new commenters slammed the old comments that criticized Bhabie’s weight loss. One individual penned, “She just revealed that she is on cancer medication. People need to have more empathy instead of jumping to conclusions and assuming. Let’s pray for her and send her strength, not make jokes.”

The speculations about Bhabie’s body transformation began on October 11 when she shared shots of her trimmed-down figure. She rocked a mini denim skirt, drawing attention to her thin legs, while her baggy top made her look even thinner.

Instead of rocking her signature wavy extensions, Bhabie opted for short tresses and flaunted the numerous tattoos on her body. Although she posed confidently and looked stunning, the comment section did not pass the vibe check.

“I miss the old Bhad Bhabie. She used to be my animal spirit. But now I just feel like she lost herself in love,” someone argued. Another echoed, “This is actually sad…that man done took her spirit….”

More IG users blamed Le Vaughn for her weight loss, with a third claiming: “I was skinny when I was being abused too.” Others suspected the rapper had joined the skinny trend, with someone lamenting: “Bro, ozempic got her ahh.”

Months before her weight loss transformation, Bhabie raised eyebrows after tattooing Vaughn’s face on her leg. The Blast noted her romantic gesture did not sit well with fans because she had accused her baby’s father of abuse.

However, the pair seemed to have put the assault drama behind them in August, with Bhabie sharing several loved-up pictures of them on Snapchat. She revealed they had each other’s faces tattooed on their bodies.

Vaughn’s body art featured a seductive picture of Bhabie with a finger in her mouth, while hers did not go justice to his face. She lamented the distortion of her lover’s features on her IG Story, slamming the tattoo artist for ruining the work.

Fans did not support Bhabie’s decision to tattoo Vaughn’s face on her leg, and many reminded her about his abusive ways. She revealed her lover had physically assaulted her on Instagram and backed her claims with video evidence.

The surveillance footage captured a man, presumably Vaughn, arguing with Bhabie outdoors before shoving her into the concrete face first. The rapper shared the aftermath via a picture, showing her swollen and bruised face.

It was unclear why Bhabie and Vaughn had been arguing, but she previously hinted at a feud over their child’s custody. At the time, she wrote: “This man thinks he gonna [sic] take my daughter from me! Say whatever you want, [trying to] take my baby is crazy.”

After posting the assault clip, Bhabie stressed that she did not share it to criticize Vaughn but to help him understand that he needs help. “I love that man more than I love myself, and it’s honestly really sad. But unfortunately, this is real life,” she began.

“I know the easy way out is to leave, and that’s better said than done. This doesn’t happen this extreme often, but LV definitely has a problem,” Bhabie continued. She claimed Vaughn was “going to get the help he needs,” adding:

“My point in sharing this wasn’t to attack him. It was for him to see what he does is wrong and to take accountability and make a REAL CHANGE.”
