Plant or donate an Amla sapling: Donating an Amla plant on this day is considered very auspicious. If possible, one should plant the sapling in the north direction of the home. If planting it in the north direction is not possible then one can plant it in the east position. This helps to solve the problem regarding vastu and brings positive energy into the house.
Observe fast: Observing fast on the occasion of Akshaya Navami is considered highly auspicious. During the fast, worship the amla tree and offer amla as prasad to Lord Vishnu.
