Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in signing Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres at the end of the campaign, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Sweden international has been a revelation for the Portuguese heavyweights and he has already netted 57 goals since his arrival last year.
His staggering contributions have caught the eye of the Gunners. They contemplated a move last summer, but refused to meet the €100m price tag.
It is now reported that Sporting are prepared to sell the striker for a huge discount. He can leave for around €70m in the summer of 2025.
Arsenal are likely to re-enter the pursuit of the former Coventry City man, but they are not alone with Liverpool as well as Chelsea interested too.
Manchester City are also mentioned as strong candidates to land his signature, but a deal seems unlikely due to the presence of Erling Haaland.
Gyokeres is unlikely to consider a move to the Etihad Stadium as he may have to play second fiddle to the Norwegian for most of the season.
