BPCL Q2 Results: Its revenue from operations during July-September 2024 stands at Rs 1.18 lakh crore, almost flat as compared with Rs 1.17 lakh crore in the year-ago period.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Friday posted a 72 per cent year-on-year decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 2,297 crore for second quarter ended September 30. The state-owned company’s revenue from operations during July-September 2024 stood at Rs 1.18 lakh crore, almost flat as compared with Rs 1.17 lakh crore in the year-ago period.
The company had posted profit of Rs 8,243 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to a regulatory filing.
On a quarter-on-quater basis, its net profit was down 19 per cent during the latest July-September 2024 quarter.
Shares of BPCL on Friday declined 4.79 per cent to close at Rs 305.95 apiece on the BSE.
