The Boston Bruins will end their preseason with a matchup against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, October 5.
The game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network and NESN. Fans looking to watch this NHL game can do so for free by using FuboTV ($30 off first month) or DirecTV Stream, both of which offer free trials. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available to stream the game.
The Bruins brought eight players back from Providence for their final exhibition game as most of the veterans will sit out of the game in Washington.
Boston brought back forwards Riley Duran, Brett Harrison, Georgii Merkulov and Jaxon Nelson, defensemen Michael Callahan and Jackson Edward and goalies Ryan Bischel and Kasimir Kaskisuo.
Captain Brad Marchand will be in the lineup. Marchand missed most of camp, first as he recovered from surgery and then while battling an illness. Max Jones, who debuted Thursday after being sidelined with a groin injury, will also play.
The Caps and Bruins played earlier in the preseason in Boston, with the Bruins earning a 4-2 victory in that Sept. 24 game in Boston. Both teams are 2-3 in the preseason.
