Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Cole Palmer is going to play against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The England international has had another impressive start to the season and he has already registered seven goals and five assists in all competitions.
Palmer was an unused substitute against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup loss in midweek, but he is expected to start from the off this weekend.
Maresca clarified the same in his pre-match presser saying: “”I hope so [he plays well]. He is going to play, I hope! Cole is doing very good.”
Palmer was sensational in the last meeting versus United. He scored a sublime hat-trick in a dramatic 4-3 win for the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were trailing 3-2 in the 98th minute. Palmer converted a penalty before scoring a stupendous winner in the closing seconds of the game.
Chelsea are currently fifth in the table with 17 points and they have a chance to break into the Champions League spots by beating United.
