This is shaping up to be a potentially special season for the Baltimore Ravens, who are 6-3 and enjoying an incredible season from running back Derrick Henry, whom they acquired as a free agent during the offseason.
He has teamed with quarterback Lamar Jackson, the NFL’s reigning regular season MVP, to form what may be the most lethal rushing duo in the league right now.
On Thursday, they will visit the Cincinnati Bengals, a team that started off 0-3 but has won four of its last six games since then and may be starting to hit its stride.
Jackson didn’t practice on Tuesday because of a knee injury, but head coach John Harbaugh said he will play versus Cincinnati, per Tom Pelissero.

Jackson is playing stellar football once again this season with 2,379 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, 505 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns and a 68.2 percent pass completion rate while leading the NFL in both passer rating and QBR.
Versus the Denver Broncos on Sunday, he was scorching, completing 16 of 19 pass attempts for 280 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
If Jackson does indeed play on Thursday, that game will feature a marquee QB matchup between him and Joe Burrow.
Burrow has thrown for 2,244 yards and 20 touchdowns against just four interceptions on a 70.2 percent completion rate, and he’s coming off a five-touchdown performance against the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend.
If the Bengals are to win this Thursday against Baltimore, it could make the race for first place in the AFC North a lot more interesting.
