Manchester United and Chelsea are monitoring the progress of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko ahead of a possible approach.
The Slovenian was linked with multiple Premier League clubs last summer, but he ended up penning another contract with Leipzig.
Sesko has had a fine start to the campaign with seven goals and three assists, but his future with the German club remains doubtful.
It is now reported that Leipzig have a gentleman’s agreement with Sesko, and he could be allowed to leave for a reasonable fee next summer.
Sesko’s release clause worth £55m was cancelled with the renewal and Leipzig are now likely to demand in the region of £70m.
United and Chelsea have sent scouts to track the progress of the 21-year-old and they could go head-to-head for his services in 2025.
Arsenal are also long-term admirers of the young marksman and there could be more clubs lining up to land his signature soon.
Sesko has his sights on playing Champions League football at his next club.
