McDonald’s is bringing back a festive, fan-favorite just in time for the Halloween season.
Starting Oct. 15, McDonald’s fans will have a chance to buy an iconic Happy Meal Boo Bucket at participating McDonald’s nationwide.
Boo Buckets were first introduced in 1986 before taking a brief hiatus from 2016 until 2022, when they made a triumphant return, according to Retailwire.com.
This year, the Boo Buckets are getting a “refresh” with new monster designs.
The pails are offered in four colors: green, blue, orange and white.
They also come with a sheet of stickers for customers to personalize their buckets.
It will temporarily replace the traditional Happy Meal-themed packaging and double as a container for trick-or-treating.

McDonald’s Happy Meal menu items eligible for a Boo Bucket are Hamburger (or Cheeseburger) meals, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets meals or 6-piece Chicken McNuggets Meals.
This is the third spooky season in a row McDonald’s has brought the Boo Buckets back since 2022.
Last year, Boo Bucket themes included a monster, skeleton, mummy and vampire, according to NBC.
