For seven years, Hilltown Community Development has been offering transportation to residents over 60 who live in the 10 rural communities.
A $50,000 grant from Transportation for Massachusetts, a nonprofit working to boost transportation equity, will expand that.
“We are trying to take an approach that would be ‘transportation for all in need,’” said Joan Griswold, director of community programs at Hilltown Community Development.
