Clare Martin was the hero for second-seeded Moorestown, No. 5 in the NJ.com Top 20, with the game-winning goal in its 2-1 double-overtime win against seventh-seeded Cherry Hill West in the quarterfinals of the South Jersey, Group 3 Tournament in Moorestown.
Grace Bytof gave Moorestown (17-2-1) a 1-0 lead in the first quarter off an assist from Marykate Crow before Sam Bruno tied things up for Cherry Hill West (12-6-1) in the third.
Chierici assisted on the deciding goal while Soph Mazza made seven saves.
Moorestown will face third-seeded Shawnee, No. 13 in the NJ.com Top 30, in the semifinals on Monday.
Moorestown is unbeaten in its last 11 games and 15 of its last 16.
