Jaidyn Falcone tallied two goals and two assists while Sienna Hernandez scored twice as 11th-seeded Pope John ousted 18th-seeded South Hunterdon 9-0 in the first round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament in Sparta.
Pope John will next visit sixth-seeded Hunterdon Central in the second round on Wednesday.
Claire Nestor had a goal and two assists and Bella Quinn had a goal and an assist for Pope John (3-6).
South Hunterdon (3-9) lost its third straight match.
