The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $63 million with a cash option of $29.7 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.
No one across the country hit Saturday’s $55 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold. In New Jersey, no one won more than $300 with a single ticket.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 10, 45, 48, 58 and 61. The Powerball drawn was 2 with a Power Play of 3x.
In addition, no one on Saturday hit the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing. Those winning numbers were: 4, 20, 37, 48 and 58. The Double Play number drawn was 24.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $303 million with a cash option of $141.8 million.
