Prince Andrew has reportedly not been feeling well since King Charles has allegedly cut down his financial expenses.
The Duke of York’s true feelings about King Charles’s latest snub were revealed by a royal expert.
In a conversation with Times Radio, Rupert Bell claimed that the ‘Disgraced’ Prince has put himself in hot water due to his “stubbornness” and “arrogance.’
He said, “One of the problems that Prince Andrew has is that he is occasionally convinced of his rightness, and he gets himself into hot water with his stubbornness and sometimes his own arrogance has caused him to create these problems.”
The royal commentator added, “He feels like he lost everything and if he loses his house, well then he probably feels that even more has been taken away from him.”
“It’s an interesting dynamic between these two but King is trying in a way to force his hand but if Andrew says I can afford to live here, then there’s not much the King can do,” Rupert shared.
For the unversed, the monarch asked Andrew to leave the massive Royal Lodge and move to Frogmore Cottage as it is easy to maintain financially.
However, Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband denied the King’s offer and decided to stay at the royal residence despite his financial crisis.
Previously, The Sun reported that Andrew is “holding firm and is determined to stay in the Royal Lodge.”
An insider revealed the Prince is “insistent” that he has the “funds to pay for his own security,” despite the “eyewatering seven-figure sum it is reportedly costing him.”
The source shared Andrew believes that he is no longer a “burden” on his cancer-stricken brother and “sees no reason why he should have to move from his home.”
