Prince William talks eco-friendly habits of George, Charlotte, and Louis at home

Prince William shared how his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are already practicing sustainability at home.

In a new interview with the BBC, the Prince of Wales revealed that his young ones are taking steps to help the environment, from recycling and reducing water use to turning off lights when leaving rooms—efforts that echo his own commitment to making a positive environmental impact.

During the interview with BBC’s Daniela Relph, William was asked about his children’s interest in his environmental work in South Africa.

He proudly shared that, just like him, George, Charlotte, and Louis are being taught the importance of making conscious choices for the planet.

In a heartwarming revelation, he shared how his children are already getting involved in the family’s sustainability efforts.

Speaking ahead of the Earthshot Prize Awards, he told BBC’s Daniela Relph, “Every family tries to do what they can to help with the environment.”

William emphasized that while these small actions are important, the Earthshot Prize aims for a larger, global impact.

“We’re trying to tackle big-scale issues and business solutions to the planet’s challenges,” he said.

“But I brought the children along on this journey, and tonight I hope they’re watching, feeling proud of the work we’re doing to inspire real change and make a lasting impact.”
