Prince William, who is in Cape Town for the fourth Earthshot Prize Award, released an important documentary spotlighting a pressing issue.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ royal foundation, United for Wildlife, shares clips for the upcoming feature, which not only delved into the illicit trade of wildlife but also highlighted the “remarkable heroes” constantly making an effort to protect the wildlife.
The Office of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Tuesday shared the trailer from the impact film which explained how impunity prevailed when it came to poaching and wildlife trafficking.
“It devastates communities, destabilises economies, spreads disease, drives species towards extinction and threatens the very future of our planet: the illegal wildlife trade,” the experts point out in the trailer.
The charity has reportedly working for the past 10 years which has been working with global leaders, law enforcement, NGOs, industry and the United Nation to “take on the illegal networks.”
The documentary was unveiled at the biggest-ever United for Wildlife (UfW) Global Summit, where Prince William also delivered the keynote speech and paid tribute to the rangers, who were on the frontline protecting the different species.
