The Toronto Raptors are retiring Vince Carter’s No. 15 jersey, making him the first player in franchise history to receive the prestigious honor.
His number will be raised to the rafters at Scotiabank Arena during halftime of the game against the Sacramento Kings.
Setting the stage for the occasion, the Raptors also unveiled a spectacular tribute to Carter in downtown Toronto.

Now 47 years old, Carter’s remarkable career includes an NBA-record 22 seasons, culminating in his recent Basketball Hall of Fame induction.
The jersey ceremony will unfold against the Kings, one of the seven teams Carter played for after his memorable stint in Toronto.
