The NBA’s All-Star Game has been the most criticized sporting event for years now, even ahead of the Pro Bowl.
The game lacks any sort of competitive fire.
It’s an exhibition of shooting and dunking, with no defense played whatsoever, and it’s not even entertaining or impressive anymore.
That’s why the league is reportedly taking big steps to fix it.
According to a report by Joe Vardon of The Athletic (via Legion Hoops), Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is working closely with the league to figure out how to solve this.

Truth be told, the fans have every right to be skeptical about this game.
It’s reached a point where it might be better to have all the All-Star Weekend events, including the Rising Stars game, and skip the All-Star Game altogether.
Some believe that the only way to fix the game is by offering the players bigger cash bonuses as if they weren’t making tens of millions of dollars.
Of course, it makes sense that they don’t want to risk their livelihoods and put their bodies on the line in a meaningless game.
However, they’re playing with the fans’ patience right here, and they have to remember that the only reason they’re making all that money is because people want to watch them play and compete.
