Are the Golden State Warriors about to lose their best player?

Some fans are worried because Steph Curry left Friday night’s preseason game against the Sacramento Kings after jamming his right index finger.

Following the game, head coach Steve Kerr spoke with 95.7 The Game and said he originally planned to keep Curry on the court into the third quarter but the jammed finger prevented that.

With less than two weeks to go before the season starts, should fans be concerned about Curry’s finger?

Curry left the court with four minutes left in the first half and then eventually made his way to the Warriors’ locker room, never to return.

When the second half kicked off, Curry wasn’t in the lineup and didn’t sit on the bench, causing many to worry that he was really hurt.

In the grand scheme of things, a jammed finger shouldn’t be too concerning but Warriors fans don’t want anything to happen to Curry, no matter how small.

It’s not clear what the new season will look like for Golden State and no one knows how well they’ll play.

But everyone agrees the Warriors won’t accomplish anything if Curry isn’t front-and-center for it all.

During his limited time in Friday’s game, Curry scored 6 points and went 2-of-7 from the field and 1-of-4 from the three-point line.

Hopefully, the team can give a positive update soon so people know the status of Curry’s finger and what to expect in this final week before the season starts.
